Christmas Lights in Westbank
9th December 2007 19:44
I saw the tail end of a news article today about someone who has TONS of lights up outside their house - including a ferris wheel thing - do any of you know whereabouts in Westbank it is?
Many thanks

I'm assuming that it's probably the same one that has it every year. It's not in Westbank but, rather, in Lakeview Heights. I'll take a look at a map and see if I can remember what street it's on.

Ok, it's been several years since I've gone to see it but I think that it's in the vacinity of Bridgeview Rd., in Lakeview Heights.

I saw news footage last night about that place on Bridgeview Road. LongInt's right... it's been happening for years... 7th year this year! Gerry Budnick & his family put up 40,000 lights to create the twinkling display. He was saying that it added another $1,200.00 to his electric bill.... OUCH!
From what I've heard, it's a well done display & certainly worth the drive to check it out! The lights will be up until January 10th.

Ouch indeed. Perhaps he should consider LEDs.
Santa inflatables seem to be big round our way. Tasteful!
